Dr. Bary Wilson serves as a scientific advisor to IAA. He has broad international consulting and business experience, including management of technical projects in more than 20 countries. He is the founder or co-founder of three technology businesses, and has served as a senior executive (CEO and General Manager) in both US and overseas companies. He has an impressive track record in successful conceptualization and management of major technology projects in GCC countries and in other foreign countries, including a highly successful US Government IPP project for weapons of mass destruction stabilization in the former Soviet Union.

Dr. Wilson has extensive experience in the National Laboratory system successfully dealing with national security clients and issues. He has served on the Boards of Directors of public and private companies and an international scientific society as well as on the Editorial Board of several scientific journals. He is an author on more than 100 scientific publications and is author or co-author of several technical books.  He is inventor on patents ranging from sensor systems for machine health monitoring, nondestructive testing, automated analytical instrumentation, to advanced pulse power devices. As a senior scientist and manager at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory he held DOD “Top Secret” and DOE “Q” clearances.

He has managed the stand-up of several laboratories at the KFUPM Research Institute in Saudi Arabia. He also co-founded and served as CEO of National Science and Technology, an offset funded company in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Wilson understands how business is done in the GCC and has experience in working with the unique challenges posed by corrosion and weathering in the oil and gas industries, and to the concrete and steel infrastructure of the region in general.
